Jazz great Roy Hargrove has created an R&B super group that includes D'Angelo, Erykah Badu, Common, and Me'Shell NdegeOcello for this acid-funk-jam party mix. Alternately reverential to R&B's past and futuristic in his approach, Hargrove manages to expand his fan base without selling out. The only negative is the cover art.
